"There is much character to be experienced and enjoyed here, including in the rooms themselves, which have wood paneling and tiling that have not changed in decades! Hopefully it stays this way. The front desk employee mentioned that a renovation is soon to begin. I hate to think that any of the hotel's distinctive features will be compromised or lost to history.
