"Anniversary Stay at Bannisters Port Stephens We stayed at Bannisters to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The welcome was warm, and our Luxury Suite was clean and comfortable. However, we had hoped for a special gesture, such as champagne or flowers, to mark the occasion. Dining at Julio’s and Rick Stein was delicious but expensive, with disappointingly slow service. We appreciated Rick Stein’s thoughtful acknowledgement of our anniversary at the end of our meal. For a luxury resort,...

"Great location"

"Definitely come back"

"Beautiful hotel I’ve been there twice and is my favorite in the area"

"Good pool"

"Room was very clean, parking was good, enjoyed our stay, easy access to bowling club"

"We found the 2 bedroom villa to be very well laid out with 2 ensuite bathrooms. I also found the staff to be extremely understanding about a booking mix up that I had. Very pleasant location near the marina and handy to the cafes next to the water."

"Low pressure shower."

"GOOD"

"Great location with easy walking to local shops and restaurants. Hotel has a restaurant & bar downstairs"

"Very welcoming staff, great for a 4 night stay with easy access to a washing machine. The kitchen facilities in the room were great and the bathroom a good size (with a good size basin top for all your toiletries). Also had a nice outdoor area for sitting attached to each room. Close to Coles supermarket too. Only downside is that it may be due an aesthetic reno if you’re looking for a really modern place to stay."

"I had a motel-style pod and it was great; everything felt new, and whilst the pods are compact, they have everything you need. The only thing missing was a hair dryer so make sure you BYO if required. But otherwise, great accom in a lovely holiday park with lots of facilities"

"Staff welcoming, wasn't the"

"Basic overnight accommodation, good food good location"

"Our room was compact but was clean, well maintained and had everything one needs for a short stay. The fridge, toilet, shower and extractor fan in the bathroom, as well as the air-conditioner in the room all worked well. The mattress was comfortable. The staff allowed us an earlier check in. There's a pizzeria close by that does brekky and opens every morning at 7am. A nice stay in a pretty place."

"The room was a bit small for the two beds we had, however having a small table and chairs outside in a small alcove was a great way to have more space available. Rooms were able to be serviced each day if we needed, and the motel was quiet, with secure access and parking facility and was in a really convenient location close to shops and the marina. The only two maintenance issues we had was that the screen door leading to the outside alcove was broken and the shower door wouldn't close...
