"The Holiday Inn, Portland Airport (IHG) was a great place to stay. Although I wasn't expecting to have to pay for parking, I can understand why it is required. I can see where people would use the hotel's parking space without staying at the location.

"This is not a typical hotel, as it has a very hipster feel to it - even a billiards table in the lobby that you can play for free. Breakfast was pretty standard, but I appreciated that there were a lot of condiments to add to both yogurt and oatmeal. I’m not a pancake person, but the pancakes looked good and they were fruit toppings for them. Fitness Center had a good variety of weights and balls, even a Peleton. "First room the AC was not working, they gave us another room, the TV remote was busted, and the bathroom door had 2 big gashes and the lock did not work. Additionally, no one cleant the room for the 4 days we were there. When I asked the Front desk, they said they clean rooms every three days. Staff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed. Lobby and stairs were dirty. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor."
