"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay"

"We stayed on the coldest week of November when snow was falling and outside temperatures were below 0°c, the landlord controls the heating via an app in the office, we complained over half a dozen times and it was Wednesday before they turned it on, we were sat watching telly in our jumpers, coats and hats. And they still turned it off again in the morning before the flat warmed up. We also bought food to cook in the oven, which doesn't work, again reported it and acknowledged by them, but no...

"The hotel was right in the centre of town and our room overlooked the Market Square and the church. Extremely comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Short stay parking was very close but it was a five minute walk to long stay parking. Building works going on on the front of the hotel at the time but that did not disturb us in any way"
