"Stayed here for one night with husband on route to a Provincial campground so we wouldn’t have to set up in the rain. Selected this hotel based on reviews, which we found were accurate. Very friendly, welcoming front desk. We rented a suite with small kitchenette, couch, fireplace, two person jacuzzi which was a pleasant surprise!! "I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden."

"The staff at the front desk were excellent in arranging for taxi pick up. The breakfast fare was rather underwhelming. I am also not a fan of having maid service every other day. This is touted as a move toward minimizing environmental impact, but in effect it deprives staff the opportunity to earn more or to have more staff hired. As it was, the shampoo dispenser was empty after the first day and was not refilled during my 4-day stay."

"Great space, lots of natural light and nicely finished unit with a fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended for the price. No staff on-site but they are very responsive by phone, which was reassuring. Only suggestion I would have is to include a usb-c or usb-a port somewhere in the unit (we forgot our charging brick, but assumed there would be a port to plug a cable into like most hotels have now in a lamp base or integrated into an electrical outlet)."

"This was not the hotel portrayed in the Expedia ad, The outside was terrible as was the inside. The coffee maker didn't work, and the tv remote had a mind of it's own. The hydro went off at 6:30 am, so no air conditioning , or breakfast . The mattress and lamp shade, were terribly stained, so we slept on top of the bed, instead of in it. The carpet was stuck down with duct tape in areas, and the room had not been dusted in ages. If I do not get a full refund from Expedia I will never use them...
