"Fabulous old palace containing the bar, restaurant and lounge areas, whilst the rooms are in a modern new wing decorated with interesting modern art. Appreciated the tray of crackers, cheeses and cold cuts that were waiting for us in the room. Comfortable room, fantastic view. Good btreakfast and lovely helpful staff."

"Arrived early Sunday morning and greeted with a very warm welcome and our room wasn’t ready but advised we would be contacted as soon as it became available. They went above and beyond our expectations and emailed to say that the room was ready When we arrived back at check in they had upgraded our room. "Situated near the railway and bus stations next to the marina right in the centre. But not noisy. Friendly staff with good spoken English, really good buffet breakfast and good supper on Floor 5 with panoramic views. Swimming pool. Nice clean spacious rooms with easy to operate AC. Ask for a room overlooking the marina as they are so much nicer than the ones at the back.Well worth the upgrade."

"Lovely clean hotel, close to the beach and centre of old town. Yara Costa and other staff at the hotel were wonderful and so pleasant. Only thing I would say is that if you’re a light sleeper then this isn’t a hotel for you, the bars are quite loud and until early hours of the morning. But the hotel can not be faulted, very clean and a comfortable."
