"The Boardwalk Inn is a beautiful old home restored to a spotless, warm, welcoming residence. Our hostess, Lesley, greeted us with a smile and went out of her way to accomodate any request made.
We appreciated the mini fridge made available for the guests use. The little surprise treats left in our room daily were also fun. Another thoughtful touch was having maps and pamphlets available in addition to suggestions of things to see provided for us.
Our breakfast was outstanding and lovingly made as per each guest's specifications. We were offered Lesley's homemsde Greek yogurt served with her home made granola OR her delicious "naughty but nice" homemade waffles OR fresh eggs and toast. Of course fresh cut fruit was also available each morning.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to PEI and The Boardwalk Inn."
"This is a convenient base in PEI. Summerside has a little of everything with a small town atmosphere. Our room was clean, has all the basics like fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Laundry and ice was 2 doors down from us, so that was super handy. I wouldn’t mind staying here again."
"We had a kitchenette. Very efficient. Breakfast at the coffee shop was good. Our towels were changed every day, but our bed was not made and the floor was not swept. We were there for 4 days."
"This is such a beautiful family owned home/barn converted into very spacious, modern rooms set on a beautiful, quiet, waterfront property. We had the best sleep of our trip at this location (occupied a 1st floor barn room). Room included coffee maker, hot pot, microwave, fridge, dishes, kitchen sink, toaster. You do need to bring your own coffee for the room, but the main house serves coffee as well as snacks and cold drinks."
"room was nice and cozy, restaurant in the parking lot was great.
breakfast was good pool is good and 3 hole golf was good as well
great place me and my dad loved it"
"This is the most quaint room I have ever been in. The staff is very attentive. The hotel is more like an B&B but I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone I talk to."
