"Clean & friendly staff"

"I checked in late at night after a long day of travel, hoping for a comfortable and restful stay. Unfortunately, the experience quickly turned unpleasant. When I woke up in the morning, I discovered ants all over both of the full beds. It was extremely unsettling and clearly indicated a lack of proper cleanliness and maintenance. Unfortunately 2 days without pool access for what we were told was a poop in the pool really did not sit well with entertaining 4 young children at the end of our short stay. The indoor pool was a deciding factor in my booking and they went in 1 time. Also the mulch outside caught fire at one point one day, and the following morning there was fire alarms ringing at nearly 9:30 in the morning. Some wake up call. "

"The property is up kept well and clean. The furniture and decor is a little older, but because it is so well maintained, it was fine. The bathrooms look as if they were upgraded at some point. The parking was free and right across the parking lot. They have a bar and restaurant downstairs and the service was supreme and the food tasty. "The room was clean and the temperature was easy to control. Blackout curtains helped us sleep. The staff was so helpful and checking in and out was a breeze--under 5 minutes. The pool was closed for renovations, but it wasn't a big deal for us. There is plenty of free parking and the buffet breakfast had a variety of good food. "
