The hotel is located in a convenient spot with most things in walkable distance or a quick bus ride away. They're redoing the street in front of the hotel--nothing to do with the hotel, but if you have mobility issues, it might be a problem as taxi can't come near the door. The inside itself is unique with all sorts of bric brac scattered about. The rooms were spacious and had everything you need. Worth noting that unless you have a harbour view, your windows will open into a pretty depressing indoor courtyard, with little light--it's a historic building, this isn't unusual but worth noting. The only real issue is the issue with the keys-- the doors have the original locks on them. Which is fine, except by their own admission the one for Room 4 is problematic. It was a pain to open and close and frankly the whole door didn't seem very secure anyways. You had to leave your keys at the front desk when you went out which would be fine if they a) told you that when you checked in so you didn't get a lecture later, and made sure there was always someone at the front desk or the door was unlocked. Unfortunately a number of times I was forced to wait around for someone to come back when I was heading out, so I could leave my key. If they could get this ridiculous key situation sorted I'd happily give them a 5/5, but over 3 days it became increasingly annoying.

Great location, really friendly staff and clean comfortable room. As a solo traveller felt very well looked after and safe. Only downside is rooms not well sound-proofed so you hear all noises: moving of furniture/ voices/ cars outside. Really recommend for location and quirky vibe.

It was a great stay, mostly due to the hotel, concierge and staff who were extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is historical, artistic and beautiful. It should be noted that there is construction on the road in front of the hotel, which although I could not hear,, made access to the hotel difficult.

The bed was falling apart, matters sinking, no water in facet in bathroom, construction in front of the hotel. This was an upgraded and more expensive room. Shower very very small. The staff was great and polite, breakfast was very good.

Goed stadshotel met hindernissen.
Het hotel ligt op de derde verdieping. Er is een lift en daar krijg je als je ingecheckt bent een sleutel voor. Je gaat dus eerst met je bagage naar boven. Helaas paste bij ons pas de vierde sleutel. Leuke kamers, goede airco en centraal gelegen.

Fabulous hotel - so much art to enjoy
The design of the hotel is beautiful - there is so much art to see and enjoy. The breakfast room has a fantastic view and the staff are very helpful. We chose this hotel as it is described as having parking - by UK standards this is not strictly true - there is a big public carpark nearby, which charges about 14 euro / day. Actually this was a great option given how tightly packed the old town is, but it wasn't what we expected. Its not so easy to access the parking either - I'd suggest getting advice from the hotel beforehand. I mentioned in my booking that one of our group needs gluten free food, and asked again at breakfast on day 1. Breakfast was great but there were few options for my friend. Honestly I was surprised that rice-based cereals or gluten-free bread packs weren't sourced given we were staying 4 nights. But honestly, these 2 comments are minor, in general this hotel is really fabulous. It is a real treat to spend time somewhere so beautiful

After two nights i discovered i left behind my expensive binoculars. Searching the car and emptied our suitcases it was definitely left in the room but when I called them they said it was not there. I told them it definitely was. The receptionist wouldnt speak English anymore then hung up. I emailed and received a nasty reply implying I had a cheap copy and trying to get an original. I told them i would leave negative reviews and they told me it was a criminal offence to threaten and they would take legal action. Such arrogance. Can comfort myself in knowing that karma will prevail

Beautiful hotel. Tons of charm and very unique. We had a beautiful room with a fantastic view of the port across the way and the busy street below. The staff was amazing. Pietro, Nicola, Ricardo and everyone else were extremely friendly and helpful. Pietro offered tons of advice and assistance. Parking was cheap and easy; directly across the hotel in the port parking lot.

preise sind nicht angegeben fuer getraenke, sehr hoche preise. daher eher zu empfehlen ausserhalbt des hotels zu trinken. fruehstuecksbuffet, oft wurden dîe sachen nicht aufgefuellt oder ist ausgegangen, ruehrei meist kalt oder wenig fuer alle gaeste. als ich es bemaengelte das es oft kalt ist, gab dafuer am naechsten tag kein mehr. hotel ist kein 4* sterne hotel. garten ist kein garten und mit einem lauten luefter. zimmer war ueberfuellt mit moebel.

Prime location for exploring old town Cagliari.. true boutique hotel .. no room the same.. great staff that were always available with directions .. if you want to be in the middle of it all this hotel perfect . Beach is less than a 15 min bus ride away.

Pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Se prenoto in un albergo Boutique, come viene definito, pretendo in servizio e soprattutto una accoglienza degna della nominia. Camere piccolissime, anzi direi tutto molto piccolo è scomodo. Giocano molto sulla posizione ma non ne vale assolutamente la pena. Peccato.

Short break at Hotel Miramare
We were treated very well by the helpful, friendly staff. The hotel was situated in good location to visit the city. The railway is close by which is useful for excursions. We had a good meal at the Japanese restaurant and would recommend it if you like Sushi.

Come dormire a casa dei nonni,bella sensazione!
Più che un hotel si tratta di una maison de charme, molto affascinante. Le stanze sono arredate con gusto, un misto tra i mobili del salotto buono della nonna e dettagli moderni. I bagni sono comunque nuovi e in stile contemporaneo. Ottima colazione, con prodotti di qualità. Posizione ottima per girare il centro storico. Accoglienza garbata e disponibile.

It's not the hilton. Everthing is very personal. No que to check in instead we were taken to the bar for a drink while did the boring stuff.local couldn't be better. The rooms were clean . Very happy

FYI: the hotel is located on the third level of the building. There is a small old elevator in the lobby if needed. The hotel overall was nice. I just thought there was too much Knick knacky stuff in the hallways and sitting area. The location was good. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Perfect hotel, staff and location
The boutique hotel is beautiful to stay at. The owners have a large collection of art on display and each room has a theme. The staff couldn’t have done anymore for us and helped with every request. The location is perfect. Right near the port but also in the old town near all the shops. This is an old beautiful building and it presents very well. Wish we could have stayed longer. Grazie

Poor breakfast
The hotel was in a great location in the marinara district district on the sea front. The style of the hotel is very kitsch but fun. The reception staff were wonderful and very helpful. The room we had was a good size and very quirky with bright colours and huge fish and octopi painted on the walls. The major dissapointment was the breakfast. The one waiter was very cold. You had to ask for a coffee. There was no muesli put out. You had to ask for it. On the second and final day there was no muesli at all. The only brown bread was from a sliced loaf. There was no hot food. Mainly just cakes.

A very nice hotel in the old quarter. Not a big room but very neat and clean. The continental breakfast was good with a big selection. The parking was not on site and not free. Very close to good restaurants but it is a bit of a hike up hill to the castello.

Hôtel atypique et très bien situé.
Très bon séjour. Hôtel atypique et surprenant. Accueil chaleureux, le personnel est très serviable et aux petits soins. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Nôtre chambre était spacieuse (bcp de décorations et objets), propre. La literie moyenne et le manque (un peu) de luminosité sont les seuls points négatifs. Le gros point positif: La qualité et la grande gentillesse du personnels. Je recommande cet hôtel. Top !

L’accesso all’hotel è piuttosto insolito ed avviene attraverso un portone di un palazzo privato. L’ascensore non funziona, quindi mi avventuro per le ripide scale di un palazzo dell’ottocento Al primo piano un b&b che sembra moderno, al secondo l’ingresso all’hotel piuttosto angusto è strano. Insomma mi è sembrato un grande appartamento con le camere ricavate come stanze hotel. La mia,con affaccio, sul pozzo luce ed un micro-bagno ricavato in un angolo della camera. Insomma !!

Sono spiacente di non aver potuto fare direttamente la sua conoscenza per chiederle quale sia secondo lei la differenza tra un b&b ed un hotel e per metterla al corrente che un hotel può esistere all'interno di un palazzo, senza per questo essere un b&b. Proprio all'ingresso, al piano terra, una grande targa col nostro nome da indicazioni chiare su come utilizzare l'ascensore, sempre funzionante. Siamo altresì spiacenti che lei non abbia scelto la sua camera tra la nostra gamma di categoria superiore comprendente camere con la vista panoramica o Junior Suite per poter esprimere un giudizio più completo sull'intero hotel.
