"We had a great stay overall. The beds were extremely comfortable, and having AC in the rooms made a big difference for a restful night’s sleep. The space itself is beautifully designed, and we really appreciated how the units are set up with enough separation to provide a sense of privacy. Check-in was smooth, with clear and thorough instructions that made everything easy from the start. One thing to note is that the showers are on the smaller side, which might feel a bit tight if you’re taller...

"The property is in need of upkeep. Things are broken and damaged. Chipped paint, damaged furniture and wall hooks fallen off the wall. We saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Towels were clean but worn. That said, the sheets were clean and beds comfortable. The location is great."

"This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. Staying at Aqualuz each year is one of my favourite things to do...

"Fin beliggenhet i Alfama, midt i smørøyet. Vanskelig å finne ved at man ikke kunne kjøre dit. Bra utstyrt leilighet, selvom noe var i ferd med å bli ødelagt. Veldig fuktig uten effektiv ventilasjon. "

"Super Lage (allerdings muss man schon mit bissl Lärm zurechtkommen - Strassenbahn fährt direkt am Fenster vorbei, Frühstückslokal vor dem Fenster, das Haus selbst ist hellhörig und die Eingangstür ist unmöglich leise zu schließen). Viele Restaurants und Lokale in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Kommunikation mit den Hosts war hervorragend. Würde jederzeit wieder dort wohnen. "

"Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages."

"The property was clean. The location is convenient but very noisy in the evening, around 1am and super early in the morning so we coupon t rest enough. On the third day, I had to take a cold shower because I think there were many ppl staying at that night and ran out of hot water."

"We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making everything so easy for us. The room itself was bright, airy, and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax. We were especially impressed by the kitchen, which was fully equipped with everything we needed. To top it off, the cleanup crew did an amazing job cleaning the room daily, keeping everything spotless throughout our visit. Highly recommended!"
