"We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. Also ample hot water, AC and strong Wifi. Note that this location is a little far out so not walkable to any amenities. Our host Glenda, who is a native of Monteverde, was amazing. "Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours. I loved the upper balcony that overlooks the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and many other birds. At night there was a firefly show that took my breath away! Absolutely would recommend...

"This property has excellent potential, but currently is overpriced. We had no tv while there, internet was down second day due to changing providers, not enough dishes to feed 5 people, only one ratty dish towel, lawn chairs instead of real indoor seating. Beds were comfortable but some sheets had holes in them. If you like rustic this is perfect. The cabins are set back in the woods making it feel you are out in the woods. The villa is located in a very quiet area, offering complete privacy—you don’t notice the neighbors at all. The accommodation is modern, beautifully furnished, and features a lovely terrace and an amazing hot tub. The host was very friendly and communicative.
