terrible hotel, never again, false advertisement, outdated, elevator does not work, parking full, paid for housekeeping, did not receive it, was told i will get refund, never received it, was charged instead $70 for unknown reason, never again, ruined my holiday

First Saturday of holidays and they only had two staff on reception and not enough cleaners everyone had to wait hours for their room to be ready. Parking is very limited, I got the last one at 2:10pm, room was overpriced but I needed the convenience being close to an event and walking back alone. Room was clean and no smell appreciate that, tv had basic channels staff were lovely and helpful they just needed more of them rostered management made some easy $$ this weekend and took advantage of school holiday peaks.

We won’t be staying again. Many small things such as bedsheets not long enough for the bed, multiple breakfast items missing and having to search for a waiter and inform them, firearm started 10pm and no management follow up or apologies, zero ventilation in the bathroom and a sign that showering with hot water can trigger fire alarm etc

The Novotel is so close to the Canberra centre and a myriad of eating places. It is well located near public transport (Bus Taxi and Light rail) It has a nice pool and good food options. I stayed on the 1st level and found that the rooms could do with a bit of a freshen up. But overall we enjoyed our stay, i would stay here again.
