"Great breakfast "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Castelo Guest house. The room was beautiful and even though we didnt book a balcony room there was a shared space that we could drink our morning coffee and look over the beach. The location is ideal just a few minute walk from a lovely beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful and ths room was immaculate. I would recommend this place highly."

"Like quite a few of the other reviews, not a 5star hotel. Maybe 4 at best. Service inconsistent throughout. And more importantly, entire property is under construction both inside and out, and not minor renovations, we're talking the complete removal of steps and access down to the beach. Arguably one of the largest selling and marketing features of this hotel was non accessible without any disclosure. Instead you'd have to walk into town to get to any beach which is public vs the one you paid...

"Wij hadden geluk met een upgrade dus prachtige kamer met prima badkamer helaas werden de gebruikte spullen ( douchegel e.d) niet aangevuld. Ontbijt goed maar zeer rumoerig in de eetzaal. Ligbedden vreselijk! Geen parasols te bekennen alleen een klepje boven je hoofd. Geen schaduw plaatsen bij de bar en eten bij de bar ronduit vies. Personeel aardig. Voor ons geen 2e keer"

"The view from our room was very good, but like others have said also, the room was outdated. Some of the staff was really good and helpful, but others at the desk did not give us information. We got more information from the lady who was cleaning the pool and giving out towels. Also had a problem with car rental where we got information that we could leave the car keys with the admin. When the rental company called about it then a guy lied about them not having the keys without even checking. He...
