"Everything in the description is accurate — our stay at Sangregado Lodge was absolutely amazing, right in the heart of the rainforest. The view of Arenal Volcano from both our bedroom and bathroom was breathtaking. Francisco at the front desk was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast at Hibiscus was outstanding. While some activities are a 20–25 minute drive away, the lodge is perfectly situated — Mistico Hanging Bridges are just steps away. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene rainforest experience with spectacular views."

"The place truly grows on you. While the property is a bit dated, the people more than make up for it with their warmth and helpfulness. We stayed in a chalet overlooking the volcano, and on a clear day the view was simply enviable. The breakfast staff goes out of their way to make mornings pleasant, and the front desk team is consistently friendly and supportive, contributing greatly to a comfortable and enjoyable stay"

"Staff, Josephine, was so welcoming and helpful. Like a host inviting you to their home, she showed us around and answered every question informatively and kindly. The bed was so very comfortable and the room perfectly clean and equipped for comfort. The place felt like home away from home, as we gathered in the evening around the fire, sharing mutual interest and taking recommendations on good places to eat. The parking is gated which helped us feel secure. We learned bed the design of the B&B and our favorite place was the deck o er looking the Monteverde mountains. We had no problems with getting our Monteverde Extremo shuttle pickup and return, a big reason we selected this location. Once we saw the road conditions up that mountain we were very glad of our choice. Upon returning midday following our extreme adventures, we went to the kitchen, heated in the microwave our pizza from the previous night, and enjoyed our relaxed lunch in the deck with a view. I am so glad we selected Camino Verde!"
