"This hotel is basic, a room and a private bathroom, but that is all we needed. We were there one night as a waystation to where we were going from the airport. There was no staff on site at night or in the morning when we were there. I don't speak Spanish. Fortunately another guest helped us arrange a taxi to our car rental. Note: This room does not have any view from a window except of the wall of the building next door six inches away. "

"Resort is a little older and needs some refreshing but is still very nice. Large and clean pool! Large covered balcony with lounge area and shared cooking area. This is a great space for dining al fresco, doing group yoga, working, playing games or just relaxing and watching nature. Also make sure you dont need a/c. This is an eco resort. I didn't pay attention to that part of the details but still lovely at night with the fan on."

"There was a significant amounts of ants on the floor of the hotel room. The photos made the pool seem bigger than it really was."

"The staff was very kind and courteous. It is a family run business as are many smaller hotels in Costa Rica. We felt safe and secure. It was a very basic room , but it was clean and comfortable. Again, the staff was the best."

"Great hotel - but much further away from SJO than I realized. This is definitely off the beaten path, but it was a great way to kick off my vacation after arriving in the middle of the night. Beautiful grounds filled with mango trees and wildlife to walk off a great breakfast prepared by the hotel."
