"We arrived at around 2am on an Orange taxi from the airport (about 5-10 minutes and $10us) Taxi driver did not want to wait for us to be let inside. Rang the bell twice and after 1-2 minutes staff opened the door, greeted us and showed us the room. Driver did at least wait until someone was obviously awake and coming. 5 stars for the fact that my WhatsApp messages to the hotel were answered promptly and they actually let us inside quickly upon arrival. "Duplex avec chambre avec clim, balcon, douche chaude, toilettes à l’étage. Espace cuisine salon + autre lit 2p, douche et wc au rez-de-chaussée. Les hôtes, très gentils, vous servent le petit déj dans la cuisine/salon à l’heure convenue ensemble. Ils nous ont fait une lessive gracieusement !! Du balcon, dans les arbres, on a vu toucans, iguanes et jolis oiseaux. Seul manque, une plaque électrique dans la cuisine, peut-être si besoin on peut leur demander. "

"Our room was very spacious and on the first floor. We even had a balcony at the other end of the room. The pool was small and a disabled person in our party could not get in it because there were no handrails. The setting was up in the mountains north of Alajuela and the air was fresh at night. We will return to this hotel because it is not far from the airport."

"Pierre, our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast omelette while watching birds at the feeding stations. The gardens were very enjoyable. Our air conditioned room with our ensuite bathroom with a fantastic shower was wonderful after bird watching in several sites within a short driving distance. "
