Volcano Lodge Hotel & Thermal Experience

"It was like staying inside a well kept jungle! The wildlife (birds and plants) on the property were gorgeous. We saw workers constantly cleaning pools and thermals, tending to the grounds, there was always someone around but no one ever bothered us to make us feel like we had to order something. The breakfast was amazing! We only ordered dinner once and it was beautiful. I was okay that the location was closer to the volcano than the downtown. My only complaints are that there weren't enough places in the room or bathroom to hang wet swim suits and I didn't love the bathroom products provided (shampoo and body wash). I would stay here again!"

"Wow! Amazing , Amazing experience. The service is 10/10 all the guys at the front desk were so friendly and responsive to our questions or concerns. Juan, Emmanuel were great. The restaurant service and food was exceptional. Both breakfast and dinner. The property was beautiful, the room could maybe use a little updating but it was nonetheless clean and beautiful. We were blown away, so happy we chose to stay here close to everything you need. Having security at the main gate made us feel very safe. Would love to return if we ever went back to La fortuna, but there’s so much to see in Costa Rica. We love it, Pura Vida!!"
Casa Luna Hotel & Spa

"An absolute gem hidden in the rainforest! We came for five days to experience central Costa Rica, and Casa Luna offered it all. We loved the hot pools at the resort, and also had a massage at the Luna Spa, which was incredible. Everything was so reasonably priced. We booked a combo tour to see the Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna Waterfall, and the hanging bridges- and the tour company was based at the hotel so they picked us up in the lobby. Our tour guide, Minor, was so knowledgeable and was just and incredibly kind human. Casa Luna was the perfect resort for a wonderful vacation. It was clean, the pools were so relaxing, the restaurant was great, and it was central to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be back!"

Lost Iguana Resort and Spa

"Amazing resort and even more amazing staff! The property is gorgeous and lush. It has its own hanging bridge, nature walking trail, and frog and butterfly sanctuary. The buildings are spread out but shuttles/golf carts are available 24/7 to take you to and from various places in the resort. The pool is lovely, with a large warmed area where the swim up bar is located. The restaurant and hotel food is delicious! I would 100% stay here again!"
Hotel Lomas del Volcán

"We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. The property is beautiful, and the pool was definitely a highlight. The bar staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the yoga class as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The only minor area for improvement was that the front desk staff were not as warm or engaging with greetings as we would have expected. Other than that, everything was excellent."

"My husband and I recently stayed in a Riverside Villa to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary, and it was truly one of the most incredible experiences we have ever had. Costa Rica has become one of our favorite places in the world, not only because of its breathtaking scenery, but because of the kindness of its people and its beautiful culture. This hotel elevated our entire experience and made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The team went above and beyond by preparing our villa with champagne, flowers, and special touches that made us feel celebrated and appreciated. Our Riverside Villa was absolutely stunning. Falling asleep to the sounds of the river and waking up surrounded by lush tropical nature felt magical. The villa was spacious, beautifully maintained, spotless, and offered the perfect combination of luxury and immersion in nature. Having a private jacuzzi while being surrounded by the rainforest created an experience that was both relaxing and unforgettable. One of the highlights of our stay was the couples massage. We have traveled to many places around the world and experienced numerous spas, and this was honestly one of the best massages we have ever had. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary and completely unwind."
Paradise Hot Springs - Thermal Water & Volcano Views

"I truly loved my experience at Paradise Hot Springs. The hotel was well situated just a few miles from La Fortuna and a variety of different activities. The hot springs pools were lonely and the view of the Volcano was next level. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay in Costa Rica. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. A variety of fresh tropical fruit, omelet station, fresh juices and a variety of breakfast favorites."
