"This resort is truly amazing. Our room was so beautiful and well appointed. The views from every window were stunning. The food was beyond delicious. The property hot springs were an added bonus. "My Granddaughter become sick while there. We had booked a tour that you were supposed to cancel 24 hours before. The morning of, we called the hotel to let them know we could not do the tour. The woman at reception said she would contact the tour company and try to get our money refunded. She did get out money back. Then the asked how my daughter was and asked if she could send some chicken soup to our room for her. At no cost to us a huge bowl of soup with rice was delivered to our room. It was delicious. They were very thoughtful and caring by going out of their way to be sure all was good. The next day when we checked out they asked us how our granddaughter was. We felt like they really cared."

"What can I say about the Tabacon except OMG! 3 things that stood out were the customer service, the impeccable coordination of the facilities, and of course the exquisite thermal spa. Ton checking in a golf cart takes you from the lobby to your room. Everything is accessible via the electronic bracelets that are provided at check in (this serves as your room key, gym access, (the gym is very clean), and allows you to charge things to the room such as gift shop purchases, meals, poolside service etc.) The breakfast buffet is available for a fee ; we got lucky to see the toucans each day high above the trees And the highlight of course was the magnificent thermal springs. It is normal to walk out of your room with your bathing suit on, and with a bathrobe over it (the one provided in the room) and saunter over to the lobby. The shuttle comes by every 5 mins; when you arrive at the springs, simply go to the towel dispensary and also get a locker key. And then off you go - exploring spring after spring. Some are cold (eg the hexagon pool), and others are warm; some have water falls and others are serene. One note is that the pools have different flooring (with some that are paved, and others that are a little rocky and mossy) - so tread cautiously till you figure your way around. Exclusive to hotel guests is the upper most secluded area called Shangri La comprising several pools and cabana side service. The whole experience is remarkable, unforgettable and restorative."

"El hotel le doy 10 estrellas, una limpieza absoluta, el trato de los trabajadores fenomenal te hacían sentir en familia, la comida todo exquisito, las habitaciones había de todo, los alrededores muy acogedor, el paisaje hermoso, sin duda lo super recomiendo quedamos mi familia y yo encantada, si algún día volviera a Costa rica me hospedaría sin duda ahí otra vez"

"Beautiful immaculate property. Great helpful staff, so many hot springs and pools, with really fun monkey slide. Enjoyed onsite activities like tubing, rock climbing, horseback riding (through the river was wild). And love the free laundry we can use. Food is pretty good too. Highly recommend!"

"The Lost Iguana was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My kids enjoyed the pools and exploring the nature trail. We also enjoyed the feeling of seclusion and the ability to see cool plants and animlas on the property. Highly recommend! The only challenge is getting there...we don't recommend making your first drive to Lost Iguana in the dark."
