"This was by far the nicest place I've ever stayed, and if I ever have the chance to come back to La Fortuna I would rebook here in a second. The houses are spacious, clean and comfortable. Each feels very separate from the others and the whole property is covered in well maintained plants. With the dense foliage and the nature walk, it feels like you are nestled in the jungle and its such an amazing and unique experience. "The hosts were fabulous. Met us when we arrived and explained a few things. Some will was undertaken whilst we were staying there which made the kitchen much more usable and the bathroom for storage. Not quite big enough for a family of 5. Sleeping was well catered for but not enough room to sit inside for 5 people on the dining table or in the evening in the living room. However a stunning table outside which is covered so this can be used. We saw a sloth in the back garden and numerous birds...

"Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure.
