"We were first given a cabin that was very close to the road. The traffic noise, especially early in the morning, was quite loud and made it impossible for us to sleep, even with earplugs. The jacuzzi in that cabin also wasn’t heating properly. We mentioned this to the host, who responded quickly and moved us to the other cabin that was set a bit farther from the road. Had the second cabin not been available that day, the issues would’ve been dealbreakers and we’d have gone to a hotel. After...

"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"

"We had an amazing time. Felt very secure, pool was great, and the grounds were beautiful. There’s a gate in the yard that gives you access to the farm. We were greeted by the friendliest water buffalo, Baloo, in the mornings that our kids actually got a chance to ride. Farm fresh eggs were complimentary. The owner was awesome, very quick communication and super friendly. Short drive into town. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back. "

"This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
