"For the price, the hotel was acceptable and functional. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The central location is nestled in the middle of a narrow block, with several other buildings. The public parking garage was convenient about one block away. The lobby is modest, with wire-looking chairs, not much natural light, and the hallways are narrow. "We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Excelsior!! The hotel was very close to the train station and the staff were especially welcoming and friendly!! The room was beautifully maintained and clean, and we even had a small balcony that allowed us to enjoy the warm air of the French Riviera!!"

"The room was clean. The staff answered our questions we didn't interact with them much everyone was polite. We didn't opt for the breakfast. We were only staying two nights. The air conditioning worked well. The shower was good and there was lots of fresh towels. The fold out bed looked odd, but was quite comfortable. There wasn't much of a view... the coffee machine was a little sticky. But all in all comfortable clean pretty quiet for a Saturday night! And we all slept well."
