"Our experience about this property:
PROS:
* Room was very clean
* Staff were polite
* Bed was comfortable, which made for a great night
sleep and bedding was warm and cozy.
* Quiet area, there was no noise which was also very nice.
* Super cute chickens
CONS:
* Water has an egg smell.
* NON SMOKING ROOM smelled like marijuana. We were told that it maybe coming from other rooms through the vent system.
* Amenities Information on the site offered a bathtub in the room, however you could only take showers due to hair getting into the septic when taking a bath. The room also had a fireplace, but you could only use it on the lowest setting. These were the two reasons why we rented the place. This was very disappointing and info should have changed on the website. Also, we used the fireplace to heat the room, due to the smell in the vent system.
* We placed the “do not disturb” sign on the door, because we were only there for a couple days and I didn’t need the room cleaned. We take care of it ourselves. When we came back from visiting some sites, the room had been cleaned, bed made and signed was removed. I was under the impression that this was a universal message for we didn’t need anything for the room, but maybe I was mistaken.
* There was only one bathroom trash can, which is so not
enough for anyone traveling, but we figured it out with a
box we received while shopping.
* Television was small.
That’s all the feedback I have. Tina"
"The B&B was an old house so don't expect modern furnishings. That being said it was a great place to stay, very centrally located and a large kitchen available for guest use. The breakfast was a voucher for a near-by cafe owned by the owners and it was the highlight of all the places we ate while in Shediac. I recommend this if you want a quiet B&B in a heritage home with use of a kitchen and a fantastic breakfast! Owner was super friendly and easily contactable when we had questions or wanted an extra pillow etc."
