A little gem! Perfect place.

A wonderful stay. The hotel was perfect for us, travelling with a 3 year old. Very clean, perfect rooms, breakfast was great and the pool was amazing! Honestly the staff could not have been better, a wonderful team of helpful people! Thank you so much for our stay. It was a great start to our Italian holiday!

A Tuscan gem

Everything about this property was perfect from check in to check out. The staff was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The pool and all facilities were well maintained and a real treat. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this gem.

Great Hotel in Capalbio, Tuscany

This was our first time to this part of Italy for a visit to the Tarot Gardens. We arrived by a regional train from Roma and were picked up by the Hotel van right on time. Great hotel in a small town in Tuscany. We are planning another visit in 2025 on our way to Viareggio for carnival.

What a gem! Location allows for a variety of day trips around Tuscany (assuming you have access to a car) while also being walking distance to over a dozen local restaurants in the old town of Capalbio. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, no matter who we encountered throughout our week stay. The property isn’t large but very well kept, offers a beautiful outdoor pool area and many indoor and outdoor communal spaces. Plus, the suites are perfect for families, and include a handy kitchenette. We loved our stay with our young child and highly recommend this spot for any age!

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage im sehenswerten Städtchen Capalbio. Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Haben uns Tickets für den Tarogarten aufs Handy geladen. Tolles Frühstückbuffet. Auch die Restaurantempfehlungen waren sehr gut.

Fantastisk familieopphold i Capalbio

Jeg og min kone tilbragte noen dager her sammen med familie fra både Norge og Italia. I alt var vi et reisefølge på 23 personer, og både store og små stortrivdes her. Rommene var store og fine, hotellet var svært rent og pent, og servicen var topp. God og variert frokost, praktisk parkering og kort gåavstand til historiske Capalbio. Høydepunktet på hotellet var det flotte bassenget i hagen, der vi tilbragte store deler av ferien. Veldig praktisk med bassengbaren, som serverte både mat og drikke. Valle del Buttero Hotel anbefales på det varmeste!

Nice, spacious, modern hotel right in the heart of the small town of Capalbio. Helpful, multi-lingual staff, quiet (cold!) outdoor pool, large air conditioned rooms, and a very good buffet breakfast included in price. Best base for visiting Tarot Gardens (tho will still need car/taxi). We loved hotel and the town, just a warning if you are using public transport, the train station is 7 miles away, you will need to contact the hotel to arrange a taxi!

Great location in Capalibo

Capalibo was a beautiful hilltown in the Maremma region. The hotel was right on the hill and short walk into the hilltown. The team was so nice and helpful for all the places to eat and hike in the area. The breakfast was a very large selection from eggs to homemade cakes.
