"This hotel is just OK. It truly feels like it was a beauty in the 80s and 90s and now time has just passed it by. The former pool is closed and the accompanying rooftop patio is blocked off. The parking garage is a little on the sketchy feel. And, while not the hotel's fault, the abandoned lot where the old mall used to be across the street doesn't do anything to help. "We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great."
