"Great location and close to everything. We were able to eat and shop within a 5 min drive. Target 20 min drive. Our cottage was very spacious and fit our family of two adults and one kid. It was great to have space to spread out. We especially loved the lanai. We were in room 5A which looked out on the pool. It was a nice view but it could also be louder in the evening but not ridiculously loud which we appreciated.
The only thing I disliked was check in where I was asking about restaurant recommendations and the woman at the desk kept trying to sell me on going to watch a time share video so I could save money. I said no repeatedly and said I just wanted to get into my room and get food after a very long flight but I had to say no over and over in order to get what I needed and leave.
Other than that, great stay!"

"I picked ocean view room for sure I got partial view the toilet was very low in my room almost made for a kid we had to rent a microwave in our room for an additional 10 per night the ac in the room didn’t get cool until night it’s like the hotel controls it other than that it was ok when we first arrived it was a 60 dollar hold on your credit card later I got a notification it was another 80 dollar hold put on my card I was only told about the 60 I later called the office and was told it was $140 but I wasn’t told that it mad Ed me wonder did have anything to do with race because we didn’t see anyone that was our race at this hotel very suspicious"
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger in Kona. We stayed in an Ocean View Room for four nights. The lanai was large with a table. The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the pool with the Ocean View and the slide. The store/coffee shop onsite was helpful. We ate at the restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The food was a little on the expensive side but was delicious. We would definitely stay here again."

"The location was wonderful if you like the center on Kona. Most places were walkable. The area around the hotel was a little scary at night, but good. The staff was very helpful. The only issue was that breakfast was a little chaotic."
"Beautiful property with really friendly staff. Usually such nice resorts are very strict and probably not as fun but never once did I feel like the Kona staff was rude or unfriendly."
"Everything was great about the resort i wasn’t happy about was going to the restaurant at the hotel and being ignored by two of your servers a female and a male ."
