"Great hotel with wonderful swimming pool and hot tub, but we did find the hotel a little far from the centre of town. The hotel does have a regular shuttle into town though! Apartment was clean and comfortable and provided everything one could want. There is a supermarket and Boulangeries close by and within walking distance."

"Although clean (and the bed comfortable), the main problem with my room was a terrible stench that seemed to emerge from the direction of the air conditioner and which lingered in the room despite airing it. I thought at first this was a result of seaside heat and humidity, so I didn't report the smell. A few days later, when I opened the safe the day before my departure, my passport and other valuables were wet. That is when I realized that the nasty odor was due to chronic leaking of the AC and the water dripping and seeping into the closet and woodwork right under the AC, including the metal safe attached to the wall of the closet!! I had an early departure the day after, so I didn't have time to complain, but other reviews have reported similar bad smells, and if AC leaks are also the problem, then something needs to be done. You don't want people's valuables and passports to get wet inside the safe that's meant to protect them. On the upside, the hotel provides a shuttle service (a "navette") to and from the Ajaccio airport, which is convenient. Also, you can take the beach shuttle right outside the hotel, which will get you to various beaches in the "Rive Sud." "

"This was my best hotel experience on the island of Corsica. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They even anticipated our needs before we did. They spoke very good English. They even let us hang around the hotel after check out. I recommend getting a room with a terrace. It’s really worth the extra money. If I make it to Corsica again, I will make sure to stay here again."
