Comfortable stay on the outskirts of town

The room was fairly large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom needed a bit of attention as the shower head didn’t really fit the holder and kept flipping downwards. The shower tray didn’t seem to drain very well and the whole unit could do with being updated. Otherwise it was good. The staff were friendly and the breakfast adequate.

This is not a waterfront property as advertised. It is on a busy roundabout. Nearest public transport is a 10 minute walk away, not a problem, but you have to walk along the side of a road with no pavement & cross over to the big shopping centre. Lots of eateries there. The hotel is next door to an Aldi. Breakfast is €11pp, you have to book. It is continental which is to be expected, but quite limited. Rooms are ok, nothing special, no safe or kettle facilities.
