Celtic Manor Resort
Beautiful hotel and grounds. The buffet breakfast was excellent - one of the best I have had. The spa is very relaxing and spacious. Take note: you have to book your slot in the pool / jacuzzi, so plan ahead if you can.

Cardiff Marriott Hotel
Very poor sleep due to street noise till 3 am from Nightclub across road from hotel . We complained to front desk but staff showed no concern or help .

The room was clean and well serviced. Our only complaint was with the shower over the bath. As older people, showers over baths are not the best but they would be helped if the were a vertical grab bar to steady oneself.
