"The Marriott Hacienda Belen is the only hotel where I stay in San Jose. I have been there 15+ times as it’s the best way to finish a Costa Rica trip before getting back. The convenience of the shuttle to the airport is a must. This hotel has been consistent through the years with impeccable facilities, multiple food outlets, great brunch buffet, welcoming staff and pristine rooms. "The property was convenient to airport and good for easy freeway access. The restaurant served complementary breakfast, and lunch and dinner options. The food we found was good to very good. Nicely stocked bar. The large pool was like a small oasis. Parking had security. The price point was good. Will be using the Country Inn Suites again."

"I'm a native English speaker, but some of the hotel staff spoke limited English. I tried to learn as much as I could before my trip, and it was really helpful! I was able to communicate a bit with the staff. Everyone was friendly and took good care of my wife and me. The property was well maintained, and the pool was refreshing, especially considering how hot it was; it was not heated.
