"My family and I enjoyed the pool"

"Father-in-law passed on Christmas day so wife & I just wanted to get her mom away for a few days. Everything & everyone there made a relaxing stay."

"Trash cans outside were all overflowing on the ground, there were no carts by the front door, our room had a dirty bathroom floor, part of the sink vanity was broken and missing, and the toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall, there was hair in the shower mat from the last guest; certainly inconvenient that a late checkout was 50 bucks, breakfast was chaotic and there was nowhere to sit, I couldn't get a receipt after checking out as they said I would get the receipt from the third-party,"

"Great location, nice property. Close to Rosemary and Alys beach. Great looks, private beach. The only negative is that I reached out to the property several times prior to the trip with no response and it is a cashless property. The waitress did not tell us that and took 100 cash which included pur meal and tip . She thought 100 was her tip. The bartender informed us cashless and helped us get the money back. Other than that the pls e was beautiful ! Lots of hiking trails nearby also!"

"Great stay. Only thing was it was cold and the hot tub didnt work. We paid amenity fees and couldnt use said amenities. "

"The breakfast is good. Sausage, eggs, danish etc. The couch wasn’t very clean, as I can still smell mold. I love the heating pool. Also the parking is available for a fee (20$ a day). It’s not included in the price. "

"Breakfast was okay. Hotel is 15 min drive from the beach. Located near air force base so repeat flyovers; extremely loud. Construction on the roads in front of hotel makes it difficult to get places. Not a quiet stay due to the flyovers and construction traffic. "

"Be cautious. We booked knowing it was non-refundable if we cancelled, but La Quinta cancelled the reservation and did not refund our money. My son arrived before me and tried to check in. He is 19, which is against the hotel’s rules, but this was not posted on Expedia. I was thirty minutes behind him but when they saw that he was under 21, the reservation was cancelled. They said the refund had to go through the third party (Expedia), and Expedia claims they attempted to convince them to refund,...

"We arrived later in the evening and the weather was rainy. Didn't get to see much as we left in the morning. Would stay again as the location seemed great. Our room was nice and from what we were able to see it looked like they had great ammenities. "

"This staff was absolutely incredible! Very clean, housekeeping was fantastic. The manager, Jessica, was an absolute gem and helped us with an on the fly hotel switch and she was so welcoming and extremely accommodating! Breakfast was fresh and very well managed considering the number of guests. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The bartenders were attentive and an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend this property!"

"The room had clean sheets, but the beds were broken and sunken in. The water was barely warm, so bathing and washing dishes was difficult. Bare bones kitchen. No room phone so getting ahold of the office is hard. They do not provide a bathtub stopper so if you need a bathtub you just have to run water. Parking was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I have a child in a wheelchair and having parking was important and something I made sure of before booking, but they extra parking was across the street and I...

"We arrived at the Property 5 hours before checkin time. The office issued us a parking pass so we could walk around and see the local area. We returned at 4 pm to checkin and tbey informed us that our room wasnt quite ready. We went next door and got some dinner and returned at 5:50 and the room still wasn't ready. Had to sit the parking lot untill 7:30 before we got into our room. And of course the television didn't work. WHAT a way to start a vacation. The view of the Gulf was blocked by...
