"Quaint hotel in beautiful village. Family run business giving a delightful caring welcome. Nothing is too mich trouble. There is a small car park which is free to use, and hotel is situated in quiet street and not difficult to find. Comfy bed and thoughtful facilities in rooms. Guests are provided with a fridge and microwave and complimentary breakfast of orange juice yoghurt cereal and toast which you make at your own convenience in your room. "Lovely hotel, staff were fantastic and room was cleaned to an okay standard. We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned, tea/coffee not replenished, no fresh towels, toilet rolls not replenished resulting in me having to call reception for more. That was the only downside to the stay"

"Had such a relaxing stay, staff were very welcoming and helpful, they even left me a note to wish me a Happy Birthday which was unexpected and so lovely. Rooms were beautiful, had the best sleep in a while! Food is exceptional and plenty of both in and our door spaces to relax with a few drinks. Easy short walk to the town centre as well as Burley House. Definitely recommend this hotel for all occasions. Shall be staying again very soon!"

"The hotel was excellent. We were offered a room upgrade on our arrival to a deluxe room and the room was superb. Very clean and comfortable with both a bath and separate shower - huge bathroom. The bar area was cosy and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Good selection of wines. We will definitely be returning. Just wish our stay had been longer."

"Enjoyable stay . The sink click clack plug didn’t work and twice it was promised to be attended too but unfortunately didn’t get repaired/replaced so we had to use tissue as a plug . Everything else was good ."

"Very friendly staff and great location next to the water. You can walk from hotel to nearby villages or around the perimeter of the lake. The room was clean, well equipped and had a garden view and sofa."
