"I don’t have enough words to describe just how beautiful this gorgeous bed and breakfast manor really is! Our room was elegantly decorated with antiques throughout and yet it was inviting and comfortable! The bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub as well as a shower! There weren’t many other guests so we checked out the other rooms and all were just as amazing! The breakfasts were just brilliant! We felt completely pampered! I look forward to a return visit! "

"we wanted historic and got it. it was a very hot day, so any respite was good, and any annoyance would have been significant. fortunately, ez and comfortable. these hosts are from Boston, so it has New England laid back intelligence and class. the property itself is interesting. all the rooms looked interesting. the breakfast was maybe too much, though some probably like it that way. i think they could go lighter, though it's an impressive show and they are morning people! if you want to...

"Our hosts were outstanding and our stay was just what we wanted. The Inn is beautiful and the grounds are meticulously kept, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast each day was better than the last day and freshly made. Absolutely recommend this Inn and will be back "

"We loved the history of the house itself as well as the section of the town it is located in. The manager was very informative about the history of the house, which we found interesting. Staff in general were knowledgeable about places to visit beyond the battle grounds, dinning options and some specifics about touring the National Park. Breakfast (at additional cost) was delicius "

"Fine bnb. Large room with own bath. Little road noise outside , but not too bad. Choice of two very good home made quiches for breakfast plus fruit, yogurt, & pastries. Will stay again."

"Very nice place. It has a country feel but it’s close to the Battlefield/ visitor center/ museum and downtown Gettysburg. The beds and room were very comfortable and the grounds were gorgeous. The only things I think would make it better would be some different choices for breakfast (she only makes one thing) and maybe be a TV in the room (although in some ways it’s better not to have it set once it encourages other activities). Overall it definitely earned five stars!👍"
