The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from Legoland. The freeway is next to it. A bit noisy, but didn’t bother us. Property is a bit outdated, but not a big deal.
Pros: near Legoland, freeway, & shopping center (Costco/fast food). Our room was in front of the elevator so we didn’t have to walk much. Beds were comfortable. It had a working AC. It had a microwave which we didn’t use; who knows if it worked.
Cons: the room was stuffy; had to have the AC on or else it got super hot. Outlets did not work. The very few that worked were very loose. We had to blow dry our hair on the floor, while holding the connection so it wouldn’t fall off and disconnect. The bathroom stunk like bleach, which gave me a headache. The room itself was clean & presentable, but the shower walls were dirty. The remote control didn’t work properly. We had to press the up/down button very slowly and wait for it to change. Sadly, my 8 year old daughter was trying to find something for them to watch and they came across a naked man and saw their front private area. After that, I said no more tv. The food was the same for both days (plain yogurt, cereal, instant oatmeal, overly seasoned potatoes, watery scrambled eggs, thin bacon, tortillas for burritos, waffles, sliced toast, bagels & fruit). I would suggest to change up their breakfast options. The dining room is limited/small, but they do have an outdoor area. 1 staff in the dining room is not enough. Tables & food area was dirty or under stocked.
