"Standard cookie cutter Munras Ave Monterey tourist trap. Large room, spartan/worn furnishings. Management customer service appalling, beyond atrocious. If I could give zero star this establishment merits zero stars. Do yourself a huge favor, stay elsewhere."

"The "breakfast" was not as pictured. No waffle makers, space was VERY limited, area was dirty. Don't get me wrong, I like Svenhard's pre-packaged rolls, but that doesn't make for breakfast in my book. Was thinking when we booked, ok, one night, Super 8, good enough. Yeah, no, not really good enough. the old girl REALLY showed her age. The cleaning staff may be trying to make it better, but the old gal could just really use an update. And for THAT price, should have been WAY better."

"We stayed one night in this hotel, the hotel is clean, the staff also works great. The bed is ok, pillows are pretty hard. I don’t like the bathroom, it is small and smelly. The only thing I want to complain about is the hotel's soundproofing, which is very poor, especially when the room next door is using water, it gets extremely noisy and loud."

The one side of the bed had an indent where it felt like you would roll off from it. The rest of the room was ok, smaller bathroom with really low shower faucet. Older carpet.
