The property is very well maintained and there are thoughtful touches throughout including plenty of fluffy towels, a well-stocked coffee station and a gleaming pool. Our room was well-sized, had plenty of hot water and good air conditioning. Together with a convenient location, the warm welcome upon our arrival made for a perfect stay."

"The property is showing its age. One wing of the hotel was a long walk from the front desk and there are no elevators. Additionally, there were no fully closable curtains. This meant people could see into the room at night and light from outside could not be kept out. I thought it very odd. Other than that, my stay was pleasant."

"We were unfamiliar with the Haliburton Post House and booked two nights , mid week, on a whim to get out of town. The room was beautiful, the food and wine selection was great. We took advantage of their waterfront and toys on what may have been the hottest day of the year. Thanks to the staff who made us feel welcome and were the highlight of our stay."

"What a beautiful place to stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. The staff deserved more stars than 5; the dinner was beyond expectation, and the room was delightful. The beach front is inviting, with an expansive deck, fire pits and kayaks. We really enjoyed cocktails on the patio before dinner. Thanks for making our weekend so great."
