"Check in is supposed to be 2pm…one receptionist and about 10 people waiting to check in - took about 50 mins before we got into our room. Need more reception staff during busy check in times. The room was nice and clean, the balcony was nice but the surrounding area feels unsafe. We seen a restaurant employees moped get smashed to the ground in a drive by attack at 1am, a group of teenagers with balaclavas tried to storm the dan Murphy’s below…be careful at night it’s not a safe area."

"Unfortunately, our stay fell short of expectations. The room showed visible signs of wear – marked walls, damaged fittings, and carpet with noticeable lumps and divots that suggested poor maintenance underneath. The interior had an overpowering chemical odour that felt more industrial than fresh, and the hallway outside smelt of urine, which was off-putting. Given the overall condition and atmosphere, we decided to cut our stay short rather than endure the remaining nights. In hindsight, we...

"Easy walk from T4… or shuttle from T1 Frre shuttle. Beautiful hotel, quiet. Multiple restaurants, but no stores."

"I had to wait for my room to be ready for an hour, fridge was broken it barely got cold, front door loose, I paid for 2 people stay, bed was made bunk bed wasn't, night staff very rude, I was on the phone at 11PM making a call on the main area and the guy at reception ask me to go outside to make the call because people were "sleeping" like I was taking outside people rooms. The worst "hotel" (if you can call it that) I have ever stay in my life, also I paid $220 a night! Stayed 2 night,1 star...

"Had a fantastic stay at Punthill Sunshine. The room was huge and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The kitchen was well-furnished, which was a nice bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated the complimentary still and sparkling water. Highly recommend!"

"Room was VERY dated, vanity unit was all cracked, towel rail fell off, carpet at bathroom entry was rotting and separated. Very noisy all night. Had dinner at the bistro and it was good and the staff were very helpful. No lift available for people with mobility issues. Air conditioner did not get cool at all. "

"The breakfast buffet..the shuttle to the airport all works out well. The pool, gym and sauna is a plus for tired passenger. Will definitely stay there again."
