"It’s a good hotel but not a 5 star.
The beds are big and comfy, the air con is great and the breakfast is very good too. However, they don’t have smart tv in the room so only Spanish channels available which isn’t great for international tourists; they don’t have a gym, they only had one lift in operation for 6 floors and the other allow of the bedrooms are full of marks which wouldn’t expect of a 5*."
"Really good and clean hotel, although our room had a big gap in the roof where someone can peek through the air conditioners, which was a bit scary.
Staff are helpful and friendly, would be going back there but perhaps not staying in that same room."
"We had one night in Oviedo as a stopover by car. This was a good choice of hotel. Easy to find, there was a waiting space outside to put the car while we checked in. There is and underground car park adjacent (not connected) which was easy enough to use and the spaces of a good size.
The room was relatively modern, well appointed and bed, fridge, bathroom etc. all fine.
The staff were very good. There is very little English spoken in that part of Spain, and we have little Spanish, but they were very patient and obliging.
There are lots of good places to eat (although again language is a challenge) and several small local supermarkets where you can buy anything you need."
"The room was okay clean. The parking cost 8€ a day. There’s no air conditioning like in a western style hotel. They have some climatisation with a small vent in the room supplying some cool air. The lobby and the hallways were not hot when we were there during a heat wave. Our room which was north facing and on a lower floor was fine. The outside door to the small balcony can open to let in the cool night air."
"We loved everything about this property. It had a very comforting “feels-like-home” atmosphere, and it was truly beautiful. The room was everything we could ask for— scenic views, a very comfortable bed, spacious closet, and a lovely bathroom with exceptional amenities. This town is iconic and beautiful, and the people really made us feel like we belonged there. The only concern we had with this experience was that the concierge at the front desk was a bit strange upon our arrival. She was elderly, so perhaps I am out of line here, but she did not make eye contact and her eyes appeared a bit glassy and blurred. She had a strange appearance, very pale and though she was elderly, her hair was long and dark and hung in front of her face. Also the girl in the closet was a bit alarming for us. I would
Highly recommend staying here for the unique experience. The elevator attendant was similarly strange like the concierge, but was equally helpful and kind. I found it odd, as an American, that they both spoke perfect english and had perfected American dialect. My wife thought this place was haunted, but we decided it was just our imagination."
