"The best thing about this property was the evening visits of the local elk herds. It made staying here worth it! Otherwise, I would say it was just ok. We stayed in a 2 queen basic room. It was small and the carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed in months. The baseboards, doors and window frames need a fresh coat of paint. They're looking rough. I would say that the bathroom, even though small, was clean and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The beds were...

"We asked for popcorn the day that we came in and the attendant said that she didn’t want to make anymore because she would have to clean the machine afterwards- there were 5 in my group and another couple also asked and she said the same thing. Also, that it makes a lot of popcorn and that she would have some left. Not a friendly atmosphere for people coming from Texas.
Was our first time to Estes park and I would not recommend this unfriendly place."

"2/10 — Very disappointing for the price.
I paid $450 for one night, mainly because there were very few options available in Estes Park. Unfortunately, the hotel is extremely old and clearly needs some remodeling and updating. The rooms and common areas feel outdated and would benefit from significant improvements.
On top of that, the floors were very dirty, I found hair on the sheets, and there was mold/mildew around the bathroom caulking.
I understand that this is an older property, but at...
