"First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem. Apartment is lovely and airy (no aircon). "The room was very spacious and clean, the kitchenette was well equipped and convenient to make simple meals. Air conditioning worked fine and it was useful during summer in Bordeaux. The staff were all nice and helpful. There may not be many things around the hotel but it is not from a far distance from tram so still easy to get around.
