Hotel lindo e agradável, atendimento muito bom

Hotel muito bonito, esta em um casarão no bairro mais antigo de Cartagena, o atendimento é algo marcante, sempre tem alguém disposto a ajudá-lo e dar um bom dia sorrindo, a Tatiana foi muito legal e super atenciosa. O Hotel é muito limpo e o serviço de quarto é muito cuidadoso e confiavel. O Hotel fica perto do centro historico, mas não dentro, ou seja, é necessário uma caminhada, mas nada muito grande. Recomendo o custo beneficio é muito bom.

No pool but nice folks

I had been to Cartagena two months before, so I knew how hot it was and I only searched Hotels.com for hotels with pools. I arrived for an eight night stay - and no pool. After two hours on the phone with customer service and the hotel's non-English speaking concierge, I finally gave up. Otherwise, the hotel is lovely for the price if a bit stingy with coffee at breakfast (when I asked for a third cup, I was told there was no more). It is not the hotel's fault that the house across the street had a birthday party one night and incredibly loud Colombian music blared into my room until 4 am. When I checked out and needed to pay my minibar bill, they would not take a credit card and I only had enough Pesos left to get to the airport. Fortunately, the owner was there and agreed to take dollars. They are lovely there, though, and it is very clean and pretty.

O Casa Blanca foi um ótimo custo-benefício, considerando o alto custo da hospedagem em Cartagena. O hotel é silencioso e o terraço é agradável, ainda que a jacuzzi só funcione à tarde. O staff é muito solícito e simpático, foi eficiente em tudo o que precisamos. Apesar de o hotel não ficar dentro da cidade murada, o bairro de getsamani surpreendeu! Por não ser tão turístico, ele é um bairro mais autêntico e com boas opções de restaurantes.

Excelente y muy recomendable.

Muy amables todos. Desde que llegamos nos atendieron muy bien y nos ayudaron para que nuestra experiencia en Cartagena fuera la mejor. El hotel es muy bonito y está muy limpio. La ubicación es muy conveniente, cerca de las mayores atracciones turísticas y nocturnas pero en una zona sin ruido.

Muy decepcionado con este supuesto "hotel boutique". Si las palabras "hotel boutique" suelen evocar imágenes de lujo y relajación, nada de esto encontrarás en este hotel. Aparte de que no hay ningún cartel o aviso con el nombre del hotel (sabes que has llegado por el número de la calle, nada más), el hecho de que la recepción, el hall y el comedor del desayuno sean todas la misma estancia, y de que las habitaciones den a ella, hace que el ruido sea insoportable a partir de las 7am. La "ventana" de mi habitación daba a este hall (no al exterior), la habitación no tenía ventilador y el aire acondicionado funcionaba pésimamente. Si a eso le añadimos que el desayuno era manifiestamente mejorable, tenemos una estancia para olvidar.

Lovely hotel in the older part of town

This is a great location with a wonderful staff. The rooms overlook a very nice interior courtyard. There is a nice sitting area on the roof. There are plenty of restaurants nearby around small plazas where the locals gather in the evenings.

Muy lindo hotel

El hotel es muy lindo y la atención del personal muy amable. Las habitaciones son cómodas y hay wifi gratuito. La zona es linda de día, pero no se ve muy buena si tienes que caminar desde la Ciudad Amurallada hasta el hotel en la noche (no tuvimos ningún inconveniente, pero la zona era muy oscura). Lo negativo para nuestro caso era que no tienen la posibilidad de guardaequipajes.

Arrived to the property at 1430 on 1/20 and was greeted by Hotel Administrator Jean. He carried my heaviest bag up the narrow stairwell to the room. Said room was small. Bed was not comfortable. A metal desk with two chairs allowed for paperwork. There was a small refrigerator with overpriced snacks and drinks. Hotel Administrator Jean showed how to operate the push button safety deposit box. By 1230 the next day, someone had opened the safe and stolen $416USD and 20,000COP or $6 US value for a total of $422. I was totally shocked as they had RUINED my stay. Each time I returned to the room, I had to reconcile my money for fear that they would steal some more!!! For 5 days I attempted to talk with Hotel Administrator Jean who avoided me. He was finally available on the last day of my stay. Lack of contact should not be surprising as the e-mail off GOOGLE was returned. Proper address was secured through Expedia. Two e-mails were sent, but never answered .Never, never had I been so mistreated by a hotel. They took no blame and offered NO solution to the thievery. All they did was work the calendar to get me out of town. Internal security for any American is a problem. I cannot recommend this place and would hope that everyone finds lodging somewhere else!

Nice place!

Very pleasant hotel, apparently newly done out. Staff very friendly and helpful (but little English). There is no sign outside so it's difficult to find in the back lanes of Getsemani.

NO Hot Water, Ants in Bed

NO hot water--ever. STINGING black ants everywhere--including in the bed. Stray dogs fighting and barking in the street past midnight, loud music from the bar downstairs every night. On my first night someone came in and took away the only bulb in the only lamp in the room--never replaced it. They couldn't find my reservation for 30 min and said I had to repay my fully paid, nonrefundable bill. rooftop "pool" was a three-foot high "kiddie" pool,
