The resort was nice. The staff were friendly. The food options left something to be desired for those that don’t eat red meat. Overall, enjoyable place. The shower is also huge!

Staff is great! Food is good. Activities by the main pool amazing! Up keep of resort however has gone downhill since our last visit 5 years ago. Beach is dirty and not private. You cannot see the water from the hotel due to all the structures built on the beach and parked cars which was not there when we first visited under Melia brand. Rooms could be kept better. Black mold in shower and on drying ladder. Started smelling musty. Very dusty behind headboard like it has never been cleaned. Visited the spa, and that was run down as well. We came back because we had an amazing experience and were somewhat disappointed when we retured.

The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Building was full of older people, 45+, the food wasn’t the best at all 3/5. If you want a place you can just rest and nothing else, then this location is for you. I now understand why we couldn’t find any videos on TikTok (The age gap)

Yes the breakfast was fresh, the staff was great maybe a few of them were difficult. They need to notify people of the rules when booking and make sure everything is working properly. This hotel wasn't fair like big name hotels are. I just hope they get better over time.

Do yourself a favor, and please look elsewhere. In many ways, they are still developing and in transition from their previous owner. If I may be honest, I have never been more disgusted/uncomfortable with the treatment towards clients/hospitality. One of their administrators asked me about my time with them and I respectfully told them how I was a bit disappointed/frustrated, especially since the little things matter to me when at all in-inclusive resorts. I also shared how many of the employees don’t even have the decency to put clients first because I did not feel as welcomed, especially since they lack such enthusiasm for what they do. In many ways, I just felt like a burden and inconvenience, which is unfortunate. I must admit though that the food was impressive. The room we had was nice. The bed was a bit too hard. When calling housekeeping, they would take a long while to attend our requests. In summary, I came here wanting to relax and detach myself from my routines only to leave more stressed. Also, the pictures they promote on Expedia are not what they actually have. Again, do yourself a favor and invest elsewhere where they prioritize the customers and make them feel at home.

This property had everything I was looking for. But I am a simple man. I want a comfortable room, great food, friendly staff, a well stocked bar, and access to water (pool and/or beach) The room was very nice. Not too big, but accommodating for me. I slept like a baby in the bed. There is a nice sitting area with a table to relax in, and a decent sized balcony that overlooked the pool. I sat out there everyday! There are two restaurants: The Merkado which is their buffet restaurant and The Fish House is a bit fancier and only for dinner with reservation. I loved the variety of foods they offered in the buffet. Obviously a lot of Latin dishes, but stuff you don’t see normally. Lots of fresh fruit and breads. And a chef preparing specialty meats and eggs to order. The staff were very friendly. Always with a smile and a “hola”. My issue was I don’t speak Spanish and it made it difficult to talk with them. But honestly, if you have a basic understanding, you can get by like I did. There were a few of the upper staff who knew I spoke English, made a point to check on me throughout the week which made it more special for me. There was some construction going on around the area and yes you can hear pounding and other noises. But it didn’t take away from my experience. The construction may be finished in a few months of this review anyway. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation. I had a great time!!

The food the variety of fruits. Lots of vegetables and real fruit juices. The area around the pool, definitely needs a better green RUG- its really bad and torn apart. Overall I would stay there again. Luis Ruiz, Editberto, all the dinning and breakfast crew' extremely attentive.

The staff was very attentive, helpful and super friendly! The food was delicious and there was always variety from different meats, rice, fruits and desserts. The drinks were always refreshing. I really enjoyed how welcoming and approachable the staff was. I was also impressed by how involved management was and very personable. I enjoyed my stay here because thanks to Chester/Franklin there was always entertainment whether it was in the inside bar or by the pool. I went as a trip with 2 other friends but this resort was also kid friendly with activities by the pool. I highly recommend this resort, the views were fantastic!
