"The apartment is located about 3-4 km from the city center in a rather unfriendly neighborhood. Trash was being stored right under our windows- every morning a garbage truck would arrive and wake us up. The coffee machine was assembled from mismatched parts, making it impossible to actually fit a cup underneath. On the plus side, the white towels were soft. Also, be aware that the apartment requires a security deposit; it took five days for us to receive the refund."

"Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages."

"Front desk staff were all friendly and quick to address any issue we brought to them. When checking in we told them we were going to miss out on the Breakfast as we had an early flight. They quickly advised us that a boxed breakfast could be prepared for us that we could pick up when we checked out. That was very much appreciated. Every morning, you received bread and a small pastry. However, it might have been nice to have a bit more variety for breakfast. The location was good for us. It’s out of the very centre of Lisbon, but it is located just 10/15 minutes walk away from the old area of Lisbon."

"Stayed in many apartment style rentals, this was the best! A perfect mix of the best of both worlds. Hotel style because it has a 24/7 staffed lobby, drink machine in lobby, courtyard seating area, and they clean your room daily if you’d like. Apartment rental because you have a whole fully furnished apt to yourself. Loved it and all the lobby staff were friendly."

"The property sits in the Alfama district of Lisbon. The oldest and most historic district of the city. It is quaint with stunningly beautiful views of the city. We were told by a staff member the hotel was the first convent founded in the city, hence, the name Convento do Salvador. This hotel is in a very narrow and steep cobblestone street. Some taxis and Uber drivers do not go down to the hotel to pick up passengers and it is necessary to go up to one of the main thoroughfares to get the Uber....
