"The property was nice and continental breakfast was good. Bathtub would not drain properly, therefore could not shower. Also walls very thin, could hear the person in the next room talking on his phone. Went to the front desk the next morning when checking out had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to the counter to inform them about the drainage problem with the bathtub. A male showed up which I believed to be the owner, I requested a receipt and tried to tell him about the bathtub, he...

"The contents of the breakfast included 1 keurig the entire hotel had to share, some sugar packets and mini individual creamer. Dry cereal with a jug of milk and some indidual wrapped muffins. The bathrooms were so tiny the toilet paper holder was butted up against the toilet seat. No shampoo or conditioner which would have been fine but, they had soap, shower cap so I...

"Dogwood Inn is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, Jim and Cindy made us feel genuinely welcome. Cindy’s breakfasts were absolutely outstanding—homemade, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. Jim was equally exceptional: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they both genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests.
The property is private, absolutely breathtaking, and feels like a dream—a true luxury retreat...
