I think our only real complaint was that the shower curtain wasn't large enough for the shower. So no matter what we tried to do water got on the floor and we had to use towels to wipe it up. "The room was alright. Had a bit of a funky smell. The bathroom pressure was extremely slow. The walls are extremely thin. We had a room right next to the entrance of the building and every time someone parked their car or walked into the building you can hear every door open and close. Spring beds are ok. Proximity to downtown Ft. Bragg was nice."

I personally take my family there at least four times a year because it offers plenty of amenities, a convenient location close to the downtown area, and beautiful beach views. "I booked this quite close to my travel plans so I didn't have a lot of reasonably priced options. The good: relatively quiet, relatively inexpensive, felt safe enough, nice front desk person, comfortable beds, walking distance to Glass Beach and some restaurants. The okay: it's an old property, everything is a bit "dated," all the dispensers in the bathroom (for soap, shampoo, etc.) were empty. "We booked a 1 king size bed non smoking and what a surprise we had once we opened our door. The pictures on the website are lies. Not even close to what we thought it would be. Someone’s fake eye lashes stuck on the lamp which tells us it wasn’t cleaned. Parking was okay and no staff to be found in the morning. I could never go back again. Start looking for somewhere else if visiting Ft. Bragg."

"Easy parking and room access. We loved our stay here at the Sea Foam. Comfortable, clean room, beautiful views of the ocean, and accommodating staff. We would stay here again."

"The Tree View room that we were put in was very basic. No artwork or decor to make it cozy or aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom mirror is extremely small and hung very low- I couldn't see my face without bending over. There is also no counter space in the bathroom to put your toiletries. With that said, it was clean and the bedding was soft. The price was decent for the close proximity to Mendocino."

"Shower was half not full in our room. The hotel is at the side of the hwy 1 so you can hear loud motocycles or loud trucks. Pros :The beach is not to far and other Nice beaches are closed by to walk or take pictures with nice views and restaurants are near to the hotel ."

"We booked an ocean-view room through Expedia, but the only view from our room was trees and the garden. We chose not to complain to the front desk and stayed in the room we were assigned. We also arrived early and asked if early check-in was possible. The front desk took our phone number and told us they would contact us when the room was ready, but we never received a text or update.
