"We had a very nice experience. I read 1 star reviews and was a little surprised. I honestly think it comes down to preferences and perception. I do agree, this is not a 5 star resort. However, this is a lovely property with friendly service that is always available. We also really enjoyed the food, contrary to the negative reviews. The rooms were also comfortable and clean."

"Serenity Island Resort offered us a truly memorable stay thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family. A special thank you to Emosi, Nate, David, Peter, and Seru for their kindness and hospitality. Our oceanfront bure had beautiful views, and we enjoyed walking in the shallow waters at low tide, spotting purple starfish and other sea life. Snorkeling was good all around the island, and the sandbar trip to the coral walls was a highlight.

"I stayed in an ocean front bure, they are older Fijian style beach huts/cottage, which was exactly what I wanted. They do have newer renovated rooms elsewhere on the property. Remember this is a small locally owned and operated resort.
In if you are looking for amazing views and peace and quiet, this is the place. There are 2 restaurants and the food was great. The bar is a nice place to wind down for the night, watch a game, play pool or get your morning lattee. I had my tours pre-planned but...

"I absolutely loved Malolo Island Resort and highly recommend it! From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed with a song, warm smiles, and genuine hospitality that makes you feel special right away.
The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The food was excellent, the water was crystal clear and beautiful, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy throughout our stay.
