We booked an apartment for 2 nights. Valentina is lovely and the area has a beautiful vista. The apartment was quite austere, not very comfortable but spotlessly clean. The bed was quite uncomfortable and hard. It was not my choice to have a ground floor apartment and I was hoping for a room with a view. We were invited to stay with some friends on the 2nd night so left early. This is only my impression of the ground floor apartment and I would not choose to stay in that particular room again,...

This is an amazing site; a set of stone-built cottages expertly converted into hotel accommodation, and with the new pool, spa and dining areas beautifully architected. The location is peaceful and secluded, with amazing views. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good (I opted for the "normal" restaurant rather than the gourmet one).

A great hotel, with a mix of old style stone and all the modern comforts. The owner was superb, a real gentleman, with a good selection of books and maps to help you plan exploring and hiking in the local hills, meadows and gorges. The best breakfast, extremely generous selection and awesome coffee. Extremely highly recommended.

Stayed in the Iris for 6 nights and it was fantastic, upon arrival the front desk was more than helpful and the English they spoke was great. The room was very good with a very big walk in shower, breakfast was great with a wide range of cakes, buns along with cold meats, cheese, cereal and eggs and bacon upon asking. Tea, coffee and juices were also to hand. The staff throughout the stay were friendly and very helpful. What a great hotel this was and I would recommend this to anyone who's...

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Castelverrino, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What’s there to see and do in Castelverrino?
While you're exploring the area, Natural Pool of Villa Santa Maria and Cascate di Carpinone are a couple of picturesque spots to get outside and enjoy nature. Castello di Pescolanciano and Basilica Minore dell'Addolorata are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What’s a holiday rental in Castelverrino like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Castelverrino. Holiday rentals offer extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll feel just like you're at home. If you're concerned about a clean environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of security away from public hotel lifts and busy reception areas while still allowing you to travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is an attractive choice for family trips.
