"Perfect location for a 2 night stay. All the sites we wanted to see were a few minutes walk awsy. Older hotel but pur room , especially the bathroom, was modern. Lots of stairs, though!"

"Excellent hotel - rooms are big, clean and beds very comfortable. Reception on duty (Krystyna) was fantastic - extremely warm welcome, friendly and helpful. A real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately both the quality of food and the service in restaurant were not as high as in previous stays. Very slow service - drinks took an age to arrive - requested condiments never did arrive. Food wasn't great - despite being told pizzas were thin base they weren't - thick and doughy and not nice. Could...

"Kilkenny was probably our favorite stop in Ireland. This hotel was centrally located and definitely within walking distance of much we wanted to do. Very clean and comfortable. "

"Our stay at The Hoban Hotel was very comfortable. The bed was just right, and the shower was superb! I would recommend to the hotel that they install stronger fans to reduce the humidity in the bathroom, and to discourage smokers from smoking right outside the building (our window was open and someone at the front entrance sent smoke right up into our room). The staff were very friendly and we appreciated the excellent Continental breakfast options. "
