"The Delta King provided a delightful alternative to a sterile hotel environment. It is an old converted river ship with gorgeous woodwork and features like a pull-chain toilet and 2 shower knobs to adjust hot and cold with good water pressure. "We stay at The Sterling once a year. This may be the last time we do so. The main issue was the shower/tub. The main shower head would only dispense cold water. We had to use the small body shower head to clean. The water would not drain from the tub. We had multiple people staying in our room. After 2 showers, we had half a tub full of dirty water so the rest of our guests were unable to shower. The volume on the remote for the tv also did not work. The only time we saw a person at the front...

"It is a smaller hotel. There are homeless people outside everywhere and you’re in the same parking lot as a gas station. Basically the location is actually good for downtown. It’s very very close like 1 mile our window in our room did not shut and lock so that was a concern of mine, but fortunately nothing happened. "

"Newer, clean, spacious room with mini kitchen. Included breakfast was wonderful, waffles, yogurt and toppings, eggs, sausage and more. Convenient to Sacramento medical area, about 12 minute drive. Would stay here again. Paid parking, but room cost very reasonable considering room comfort, cleanliness and condition. "
