"This is THE place to stay!! Just like coming home. Only 5 lovely rooms all facing the pool. Breakfast is so good and beautifully served at the table by the lovely owners. A big livingroom with many places to sit and read and a help yourself bar. We did the fisherman’s trail and the place is about 15 minuts up from the trail. A nice restaurant nearby. I can really recommend this smal lovely hotel ."

"What a lovely oasis after days on the trail. Staff super helpful and kindly made a breakfast bag for us when we were leaving too early for the set breakfast time. Sweet quiet rural setting. The UBER from town was easy to book but only at the last minute."

"Clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast was also supplied which was excellent. You have to share a bathroom with other travellers but the facilities were clean and tidy and there was plenty of hot water. Overall excellent value for money"

"A lovely place, with nice pools. Lovely accommodation and breakfast. A 2 km journey in to town"

"Very nice hotel with a lovely breakfast. The downside was no heating inside in the end of October. It was 8 degrees outside in the morning = cold inside."

"Amazing place located 3 minutes from beach. Angela, staff, was truth angel did take great care of us."

"Staff was wonderful. Beautiful surroundings"

"The overhead shower wasn't very strong, and the smaller shower head had to be hand held because the holder was broken. The shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor. There was only one shelf in the bathroom and it was slatted, so the cheap sachets provided for shampoo etc fell to the floor. Basically there was no room to put anything. The sink plug was useless. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding clean. The swimming pool was quite nice, although the shallow end was too shallow for...

"Warm hospitality, large house"

"Perfekter Ort um sich nach einer Wanderung zu erholen. Liebevolle Unterkunft , außergewöhnlich. Mit einem Auto gut zu erreichen. "

"Very lovely place for a stay at the west coast between Lisbon and Sagres. Beach, restaurants, shops, supermarket - everything is in walking distance. Friendly hosts who welcomed us with a full fridge. We enjoyed our stay in the nicely furnished and well equipped apartment very much and Villa Nova de Milfontes is definitely a place worth visiting - beautiful scenery and only moderate tourism. We would love to come again."

"Enigma has a great location and, in my opinion, the concept of the hotel has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not quite live up to what we expected, especially considering the price we paid. The hotel is clearly in need of better maintenance. There was mould visible on some of the walls, the pool did not look particularly clean, and the spa felt quite outdated. The gym was also very poor, with only a few machines and very limited equipment. We also had dinner at...

"We booked Last Minute and found everything in good condition. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the beautiful garden and pool."

"The only problems I had the bed wasn’t comfortable. Otherwise prefect stay"

"Excellent location. Right across quite beautiful beach. Excellent breakfast. Nice big room with big balcony overlooking pool."
