"Super friendly staff who were happy to have us there. Simple hotel was great for a stop on our golden circle tour and bonus with breakfast included so we didn’t have to spend time in the morning looking for something to eat. Would stay there again. "
"Asked for room upgrade was told not available. Hotel did not look full. Offered free drink, then told wrong drink ordered & had to pay. Room was outside of main hotel in add on units. Beds were OK, small fridge and sink, bathroom very small. Restaurant food good, very limited choices. Hot tub and sauna nice. very nice sitting areas throughout the hotel, probably to view the northern lights. Gym nice. Short drive to most places in the area. "

"This hotel was fantastic. We loved it. Food was wonderful and they were very accommodating with our food allergies and vegetarianism. The owner is lovely too. Only complaint is that even with a fan the rooms are very warm, but that seems to be the case in all the hotels here. "

"Ármót Guesthouse was a perfect place for our first night in Iceland. There was 3 of us travelling and we each had our own room in the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed with a bonus view of the horse fields. The area was quiet and all instructions for entering the self check in cabin were clear. We would definitely stay here again in the future. "

Very comfortable cabin for 4 with beautiful views from the large glass windows. Do not miss out on this place. Its very close to Seljalandsfoss. Highly recommend it, you will not regret it. "

"Arrived 9pm or so. Sauna & hot tub closed already despite daylight til after midnight. No upgrades were available to me per hotel. Hotel did not appear full. Room was ok, small, clean, twin beds and a cot which was extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom, huge however no hot water for morning showers. Informed clerk and was offered a free soda. Free breakfast was good. Technology great. Nice sitting areas throughout probably for viewing the northern lights."
"This is a lovely guesthouse about 10 minutes off of the main road. This meant it was a quiet location, which was actually surrounded by farms and farm animals. It was a beautiful location! We had a small room with a private bath, but there was a shared bath across the hall that was clearly marked that it was only for two rooms to use. We spent some time in the evening chatting with other guests which was fun. We did not stay for breakfast, but it looked like a nice spread and the breakfast...
"We stayed on our last night in Iceland. The rooms are albeit old fashioned, for a 1 night stay, it's decent. There's a restaurant and the breakfast was nice. This is very close to all the great falls around that area and you can see northern lights right above the hotel. We saw northern lights in Vik and here on the second day. It was beautiful and they also have places you can scan and go to watch the Aurora. 2 hours from the international airport. "
